The Global Economic Volunteers are a joint project of the student body representatives of the economics faculty (Fachschaft WiSo) at Kiel University and student/graduate staff at the Kiel Institute. While the Fachschaftler are responsible for selecting and casting of student aides to the Global Economic Symposium, the staff at Kiel Institute keeps all involved parties connected by providing a collaborative virtual platform.
